Tamie Ross joined the Chronicle in 2005.
Background
An award-winning features and editorial writer, editor and columnist with 20-plus years of journalism and public relations experience, Ross is a former religion editor at the Daily Oklahoman. Her freelance clients have included The Associated Press and para-church ministries.
The Harrah, Okla., native studied journalism at Oklahoma Christian University.
She and her husband, Bobby, the Chronicle’s managing editor, have three children, Brady, 18; Keaton, 14; and Kendall, 12. They are active members of the Edmond (Okla.) Church of Christ, where they work closely with the college and youth ministries as well as the marriage ministry team.
