Kimberly Mauck joined The Christian Chronicle as its reviews editor in July 2011.
Besides writing freelance stories for publications such as Oklahoma Today and Christian Woman, Mauck serves as an adjunct composition instructor at Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism, with a minor in English, from the University of Oklahoma in 2004. She completed a master’s degree in education from Southeastern Oklahoma State in 2008.
“The stories in the Chronicle never fail to strengthen and challenge my faith, and I’m thrilled and blessed to be a part of this publication,” said Mauck, 29.
As reviews editor, Mauck coordinates the Chronicle’s reviews of Christian books and other media, such as movies and music. She also posts weekly on the news blog.
Mauck and her husband, Jay, are the proud parents of two daughters, Claire, 4, and Anna, 18 months, with another daughter due in the fall. They are active members of the Northwest Church of Christ in Durant, Okla.
