NAMED: Dennis Lewis and Robert Jackson to the Board of Regents of Pepperdine University, Malibu, Calif., as Life Regents. Lewis attends the Fairfax, Va., church. Jackson attends the Woodmont Hills church, Nashville, Tenn.
HONORED: Paul and LaLani Johnson and their sons, Glenn and Matthew, for recent achievements. Paul Johnson was appointed for his fifth term as Chaplain for the American Legion for the department of Wyoming, Chaplain for District 3 as well as Post 19 Chaplain and Judge Advocate. LaLani Johnson was appointed for a second term as the American Legion Auxiliary department of Wyoming, Sergeant of Arms. Glenn Johnson earned the Vigil Honor. Matthew Johnson was elected as Vice Chief of Elangomats, in the Tatokainyanka Lodge of the Order of the Arrow Boy Scout honor society. The family attends the Lander, Wyo., church.

CORRECTION: A story about Sudan on Page 10 of the June issue contained errors. Roger Talanyi is a Ugandan-born minister who plans to work in Sudan. The photo with the story was taken in front of a church-run kindergarten in Shinshicho, Ethiopia. Church members hope to build similar schools in Sudan.
