Freed-Hardeman launches campaign
FREED-HARDEMAN UNIVERSITY

Officials at Freed-Hardeman University, Henderson, Tenn., announced the largest campaign in the university’s history at the 36th annual Advisory Board Benefit Dinner Dec. 1, 2000. With a goal of $32 million, the Believe campaign will provide for the construction of new campus facilities, including the new Brown-Kopel Business Center, the endowment fund and the school’s scholarship fund. According to Public Relations Officer Josh Woods, $26 million has been committed toward the campaign goal.

Former president George Bush served as the keynote speaker for the Benefit Dinner, which raised a record $850,000 to benefit student scholarships.
