At the recent Back-to-School Bash at Columbia Academy, a Tennessee school associated with Churches of Christ, about 150 students, teachers and parents surprised the crowd with a flash mob.

The performance was set to the tune of the hit pop song “Call Me Maybe.”

Columbia Academy has more than 750 students enrolled in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade this fall.

Maybe not but we can still have fun.

That is so cute–good clean fun, and helps them use up all that extra energy that I wish I still had!!

Great fun! My son, his wife and my grandbaby live in TN. I learned to dance as a child in NYC. I hope my grandson learns too. Good clean fun.

    Good for them!

However, they seem to be having a lot of fun so, for some, there has to be some sin in there someplace.

How appropriate is it for a group of youth at any school to dance to a song with the lyric – “ripped jeans, skin was showing” or “I trade my soul for a wish.” As a father of two young girls, 8 and 5 years old, I find this appalling.
