Danville, Ill., church marks 50 years

Like a big family, members of the East Park Church of Christ have gone to many weddings, funerals and baby showers during the years.
This weekend, members hope the community and those once associated with the church will help celebrate the 50th anniversary of the church at 1224 E. Voorhees St.

Congratulations! Margaret and I were there while the Corps of Engineers sent me to school for a year and worshiped with this church. From the address, I see that you did build a new building on the land you owned then. Balcom(sp?) was the preacher then.
