Lipscomb University reports:

The Health Sciences Simulation Center, Home of the School of Nursing, is the next step in the expansion of the northern part of Lipscomb University’s campus. Development has begun on the $7 million, 24,800-square-foot building that will house the university’s more than six-year-old School of Nursing.

The new three-story building will be located adjacent to the Hughes Center and features two large classrooms with a seating capacity of 110 each, additional smaller classroom areas, collaborative learning spaces, laboratory spaces, a café, faculty offices and student work areas.

It also includes an assessment skills lab with a 12-station unit that will be used for nursing, pharmacy and other health sciences students to practice their physical assessment and diagnostic skills plus immunization training, safety training, CPR certification and other vital skills.
