I first met him when as a teen ager at Watervliet Church of Christ, Michigan, when he traveled down from Michigan Christian College and to speak. I renewed the aquaintance at Harding while a student. His brother Richard was the art instructor. The Hacketts were a strong presence at MCC and for the Detroit area. He will be missed.
