We shared a news story last week on the theft of air-conditioning units at a Church of Christ in Florida.

There has been a happy ending to that story, as WZVN-HD in Fort Myers, Fla., reports:

LEHIGH ACRES – The air-condition units of a Lehigh Acres were vandalized on Friday the 13th! But now, not only is the AC back up and running, church leaders making sure it doesn’t happen again.

The new air conditioning units at Church of Christ were installed Wednesday by Mr. Cool Air Conditioning and Heating. The company made the donation after the owner heard what they were going through.

“It was very gracious to do what they did – I’m very thankful,” said Jody Davis, the preacher with Church of Christ.

God works through many folks. Nice to know this gentleman was moved to help. Lehigh Achers is a good congregation but small. This could have been a big setback, but really it was an opportunity for God to be glorified! God is Good, All the Time!

Note of disclosure, Doris in the picture is my mother-in-law and a member of that church.

Beautiful story. It is always encouraging to see God at work in such irritating moments as dealing with a thief. God bless them all.
