Shiloh ready to rebuild
Board member Dale Pauls, executive director Lori Bumpas and chancellor
Wallace Murray break ground Dec. 8 for Camp Shiloh’s Celebration
Center.
Twenty-one people attended the ceremony for the Christian camp in fresh-fallen snow in the Catskill Mountains of New York. The center will include an assembly hall and a commercial kitchen and represents the crowning achievement of a five-year capital improvement plan for the camp, said Pauls, minister of the Stamford, Conn., church. He praised Bumpas, the camp’s executive director for 10 years.
“Her passionate and energetic leadership is overseeing a $750,000 capital campaign and now brings back to the camp the kitchen it lost over 10 years ago in the fire that destroyed Roseberry Hall, only this time a modern, state-of-the-art edition,” Pauls said.
