Sunset celebrates seventy-sixth graduating class with ceremony
Sunset International Bible Institute held a commencement ceremony May 19 for its seventy-sixth graduating class. Don Myers, Bible teacher at Faulkner University in Alabama delivered the commencement address. Certificates of completion were presented to 55 men and women from the Residential Studies; External Studies; International Studies; and Senior Adventures in Ministry programs.

Several of the graduates have confirmed plans to minister in local congregations in Alaska, California, Florida, Texas, Kansas, Iowa, Montana, Arizona, Arkansas, and Washington.

Others will be serving in Brazil, Ukraine, New Zealand, and Russia. Four graduates will continue their studies at Sunset in the Advanced Missions Program this fall. A few are still researching ministry opportunities.

Eighteen of the graduates completed their course work through Sunset’s Distance Learning program. Additionally, there are more than 400 students from Sunset’s 47 International ministry training schools who are graduating. Thirty-three of these international students are from Sunset’s ministry training program in Havana, Cuba.
