Mitzi Adams teaches children in the village of Mumena in northwestern Zambia. Adams was part of a two-month campaign among the Kaonde tribe in this African nation. Members from 13 churches in Illinois, New Mexico, Tennessee, Texas and Uganda participated. Campaigners painted elementary schools, repaired missionaries' houses, built a water tower and drilled three wells. Medical workers provided medicine, dentistry and eye exams for about 3,000 people at three locations.
