Faulkner University, Montgomery, Ala., launched a $16.5 million campaign Jan. 23, the largest in its 58-year history, according to President Billy D. Hilyer. The announcement was made in conjunction with the groundbreaking ceremony for a facility to house the school’s V.P. Black College of Biblical Studies and Cloverdale Center for Family Strengths. According to Hilyer, $11.5 million has already been raised to fund new buildings, scholarships and endowments, and the new 'Soaring to New Heights' campaign includes a plan for overall university advancement.
