JENKS, OKLA. - One church youth group is passing on the pizza and serving up carrot sticks instead.
The menu is in honor of Sean Algaier, a graduate of York College in Nebraska and youth minister for the Jenks church.
He’s competing this fall on NBC’s “The Biggest Loser.”
Algaier, 30, won the opportunity to trim down in front of a national audience from his starting weight of 444 pounds.
“I want (young people) to know, that if I can do this … they can do it,” Algaier told the York News Times.
