SPIRITUAL WARFARE

Don Umphrey. Seeking Spiritual Clarity: The Murky Perspective of Evil. Dallas: Quarry Press, 2009. 195 pages. $14.

Based on the author’s own recovery from alcoholism, Umphrey explores how Satan’s temptations affect spiritual living. Each chapter concludes with questions for self-examination and small-group discussion. This work would be especially well-suited for, but not limited to, faith-based recovery groups.
