Kate Schall and Brittany Robinson, members of the campus ministry Blue Hens for Christ, spread manure and mud in the Lower Ninth Garden. The garden will produce vegetables and herbs for the people of New Orleans.
Fourteen members of the student ministry, an outreach of the Newark, Del., church, worked with nonprofit Lowernine.org during a spring break mission trip.
