CHURCH HISTORY

Edward J. Robinson. Show Us How You Do It — Marshall Keeble and the Rise of Black Churches of Christ. Tuscaloosa, Ala.: University of Alabama Press, 2008. 240 pages. $39.95.

Pioneering minister Marshall Keeble played a significant role in black — and white — Churches of Christ from 1931 until his death in 1968. Robinson, an Abilene Christian University Bible professor, details Keeble’s theology, reconstructs his ministry and explores his legacy both in the church and Keeble’s family.
