Singapore, Thailand churches partner in missions
About 50 members of the Moulmein church in Singapore traveled to Thailand recently to help members of the Cheung Dol church in Chiang Mal with a variety of evangelism and service projects.

The church members taught at a rural children's camp and served patients at Asia's largest facility for people suffering from leprosy, missionary David Allen said.

Chris Flanders, an assistant  professor at Abilene Christian University in Texas and former missionary to Thailand, kicked off the event with two days of preaching and teaching.

One purpose of this mission trip was to build relationships between the two congregations  in preparation for future church plantings together in Cambodia," Allen said. The churches plan to join other Asian congregations in sending mission teams to the Cambodian cities of Phnom Penh and Siem Reap.
