Ministries respond to East Africa food crisis
Recent drought and resulting crop failures could claim millions of lives in East Africa. In Ethiopia, at least 14 million Ethiopians — 18 percent of the nation — need food aid or cash assistance, USA Today reported recently.

Nashville, Tenn.-based Healing Hands International and West Monroe, La.-based White’s Ferry Road Relief Ministry are partnering to send $50,000 to church leaders in East Africa for the immediate purchase of food.

“We are now pleading with you to match this donation with at least another $50,000 to help relieve the suffering,” Healing Hands urged supporters in a recent appeal.

TO CONTRIBUTE, contact Healing Hands International at hhi.org or call (615) 832-2000.
