C.W. Bradley

C.W. Bradley, 83, of Memphis, Tenn., died Aug. 18. Born in Trenton, Tenn., he attended Lipscomb University, Nashville, Tenn., and Harding University, Searcy, Ark. He earned a master's from Harding University Graduate School of Religion, Memphis. He preached for 60 years in churches in New York, North Carolina and Tennessee. He was a member of the Germantown, Tenn., church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta. Survivors include two daughters, a son, three grandchildren, one great-grandchild and two sisters.

Bob Clardy

Bob Clardy, 67, died Aug. 6 in Cumming, Ga. He graduated from Alabama Christian College, now Faulkner University, and served churches in Alabama, Florida and Georgia for 41 years. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Mary, a daughter, a son, two grandchildren and a sister.

T.B. Crews

T.B. Crews, 88, of Round Rock, Texas, died Aug. 28. He preached for more than 60 years throughout Texas and Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 49 years, Mary Helen, and his second wife of 10 years, Jackie. Survivors include a daughter, two granddaughters, three great-grandchildren and three step-daughters.

Buford Forbes

Buford Orville Forbes, 89, died Aug. 27 in Georgetown, Texas. He grew up in West Texas and New Mexico and worked for Southern Pacific Railroad and El Paso Natural Gas. He was a member of the Westside church, El Paso, Texas, and later the Georgetown church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, two brothers, three sisters and a grandson. Survivors include a son, a daughter, four grandchildren and a brother.

Scot Jones

William “Scot” Jones, 37, of LaFayette, Ga., died Sept. 4. A native of Boone, N.C., he was a graduate of Freed-Hardeman University, Henderson, Tenn., and minister for the Lookout Hall church, Trion, Ga. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Sue Hayes Jones. Survivors include his wife, Christine, his father and stepmother, two sisters and a brother.

Eupha Skillman

p26_skillman_sEupha E. Skillman (left), 79, died Aug. 11 in Lubbock, Texas. She taught at Freed-Hardeman University, Henderson, Tenn., where she instituted a four-year program in home economics. Skillman taught at Lubbock Christian University from 1976-82, where she implemented a similar program and served as head of the home economics department.

Survivors include her husband, Billy, a daughter, two sons, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a sister.

Curtis Stamps

Ronald “Curtis” Stamps, 67, died Aug. 10 in Covington, La. He served as minister for the Whippany, N.J., church for 28 years. He earned two master's degrees from Pepperdine University, Malibu, Calif., and served churches in California before moving to New Jersey. He was preceded in death by a son. Survivors include his wife, Barbara, a son, a daughter, three grandchildren, three brothers and four sisters.
