Broken boat conveys loss of livelihood, homes and churches
Survivors in a community near Manginapudi, in India's Andhra Pradesh, display a cracked and broken boat damaged by the Dec. 26 tsunami. Nearby villages are home to many church members. Almost all are fishermen, all have lost their livelihoods, said Kenneth Grimm, a missionary who surveyed the area. Members' homes and church facilities also were destroyed.
