Jenkins sculpts the Bible
Kyra Jenkins knows the art of storytelling so well she has put it into bronze, wrote Beth Pratt, religion editor for the Lubbock Journal-Avalanche. The fourth-grade Bible class students at the Broadway church, Lubbock, are enthralled by Jenkins’ ability to make Bible stories come alive through her bronze sculptures.

“She is amazing,” said children’s minister Robbie Crumpler. “She came up with a curriculum that integrates the Bible, using graphics and geography.

“The thing I love most is she takes every bit of the information in the Bible and points it all toward Christ,” Crumpler added. “She is so excited about it that it is fun to watch her when she is teaching.”
